Words, words, words! Communication is essential in our global community today, and I am here to help with your language and literature needs.
I have been tutoring for eight years, from high school to now. I was selected and trained for a year by the Reading and Writing Center of Augustana College to help students with all parts of the writing process. I also worked as a writing fellow within freshman classrooms. Prior to that, I tutored children with ADHD as an independent contractor while in High School. Other teaching experience includes work as a professional dance instructor the past two years.
Currently, I am pursuing my masters degree from Chicago Theological Seminary, but I received my BA in English Literature and in music from Augustana College in Illinois with a 3.9 GPA (magna cum laude). I was the Dorothy Parkander Scholar of English Literature, and am a Phi Beta Kappa scholar and member of Sigma Tau Delta English Literature Honor Society.
Reading, writing, and working with language are critical components of living up to your potential and following your dreams. Whether you need help with your child's reading skills or help with writing your own papers, I am here to help!
