I am a 21 year old student native to Colorado with much more experience under my belt than the average 21 year old:

-I've lived for extended periods of time in Lima, Peru and Ensenada, Mexico.
-I graduated high school as the Senior Class President.
-I received the "Most Outstanding Spanish Speaker" Award from the Woodland Park Rotary Club in 2007.
-I've had over 75 hours of experience tutoring and teaching students of all ages in ESL, Spanish, Reading, Writing and Math.
-I recently received my TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certification from the prestigious Bridge Linguatec language school in Denver, CO.
-I'm extremely athletic and enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities: rock climbing, rappelling, soccer, slacklining, snowboarding, hiking, surfing, etc.

  I have recently received my TEFL (Teach English as a Foreign Language) certification from BridgeTEFL, a counterpart of BridgeLinguatec Language School in Denver, CO. This was an intensive on-site course which included: • 140 contact hours between the candidates and the course trainers which involved input sessions, supervised lesson planning, feedback on teaching, peer observation, consultation/course advising sessions • 9 hours teaching practice with real EFL/ESL language learners supervised and assessed by a course trainer • Directed observation of lessons taught by experienced ELT professionals • Written assignments on the following topics: Grammar/Language Related Tasks, Language Skills Related Tasks, Professional Development tasks • Final portfolio of assignments, lesson plans and feedback comments from trainers and fellow trainees
