I am currently a third grade teacher for Fort Wayne Community Schools. This is officially my fourth year teaching but I have been in the classroom for around 6 years now. I was a substitute teacher for over a year before I got a classroom position. This is my second year teaching third grade. I taught first grade for two years and spent most of my student teaching in fifth grade. I have been trained in many scientifically-based reading strategies that help students read. I've spent a large part of my teaching career using these strategies, and my students have benefited from them.
