I received my B.A. in English Literature from Barnard College, Columbia University, in 2003. Since then, I have been certified to teach English as a foriegn language from a program in Prague, Czech Republic. I taught English in Madrid, Spain for one year. My classes ranged in size from 15 students to one-on-one instruction. The students were between the ages of 6 and 55. I'm currently a service member for City of Lakes Americorps and work in the Northeast Middle school as a tutor and enrichment facilitator. I was a good student in school and value education. I'm passionate about passing on my enthusiasm for learning. I have high expectaions for my students, and I insist they have the same high expectations for me. I work hard, I expect my students to work hard, but I make lessons fun and enjoyable.
