I am an undergraduate student at the University of Washington. I focus on foreign language learning, and am quite comfortable explaining the nuances of grammar in French, Russian and English.
I have successfully helped multiple Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean students understand the trickier bits of English grammar, and I have also helped fellow students of French and Russian overcome roadblocks on their paths to learning. By helping these students, I have encountered many different learning styles. I feel comfortable explaining things in various ways until they become clear. I am patient, and I work best with students who are willing to trust me to explain things to them. The best way to learn something is to be interested in that subject. So whether you're trying to increase your vocabulary, improve your pronunciation, or understand those pesky French irregular verbs, I would be delighted to help you learn it on your terms, in your way.
