My name is Myriam and I am the mother of 2 bilingual kids with whom I have traveled in Europe and Asia.
I have taught for 13 years in very diverse settings and am constantly amazed how teaching needs to adjust to personalities.
I taught to preschool kids, elementary, subed in High school, taught to professionals in France, India, USA, and love to take walks with my 2 dogs, hike and mountain climb.
I believe in teaching a foreign language living it in a context that mean something to the student and always reevaluating teaching methods as well as using all kind of medium to achieve the goal.
My education is a bit scattered as i was looking for myself first in journalism (college of french language)m than business(wanting to travel and work) anyway I left college with an associate degree in business and worked as a restaurant manager in Geneva Switzerland than started travelling to Asia.
I arrived in USA in October 91, had a family and started teaching as a mean to follow my kids schedule, my love for teaching my language grew stronger with the years and experience.
Here it is and I want to thank anyone reading this and taking time to reply.
Respectfully, Myriam.
