As a graduate of the Longy School of Music (Cambridge, MA) and a student of piano at Oberlin Conservatory (Oberlin, OH), I would offer your student extensive experience. I have played the piano for over 40 years both as a soloist and as an accompanist. As a teacher, I would introduce your student to the basics of music theory and piano practice. Using materials I can provide, we would go over each lesson methodically until the information is clearly understood and internalized. I would also emphasize your student's musicality and appreciation of listening to themselves play so they would be encouraged to practice and develop their ability.

I can come to your house to teach and offer flexible day and evening hours.
