I have taught biology and chemistry in private high schools for four years and have my undergraduate BS in Biology from Gonzaga University and my Masters in Education from the University of Notre Dame. My teaching methods involve creating analogies to concepts that the students understand and to which they can easily relate. I focus largely on active learning and critical, analytical thinking that compels the students to develop their own conclusions and reasoning processes. I am also a professional competitive ballroom dance instructor and a member of the National Dance Council of America. Flexible scheduling is available, including weekends.
