About me : I went to Suncoast Community High School, and graduated with an IB diploma in 2000. My higher level IB subject was art, and I did well overall, graduating with over a 4.0 and as a National Merit semi-finalist. My SAT score was a 1380, and I took the SAT II in writing, scoring a perfect 800. So if you are looking for a writing tutor - I might be a good fit for you! I am also competent and passionate about many other subjects, which you will see listed in my profile.
After graduation from high school I went to the Air Force Academy, where the academics were equally rigorous. I majored in Humanities and Philosophy, but the technical nature of the core curriculum at the Academy required that I take many science and math classes as well, including biology, chemistry, physics, and others.
After graduation from the Air Force Academy in 2004, I went on to join the United States Peace Corps and served in Zambia from 2006 - 2008. Zambia is a small rural country in south-central Africa, and I lived in a hut in a small village where I taught preventive health care to Zambian villagers.
As one of five children, I grew up tutoring my younger siblings in subjects I'd already taken, and since returning from the Peace Corps I've tutored in various subjects to students of different ages, always enjoying myself!
