I graduated from TWU in May of 08 with a bachelor's degree in Science, where I majored in Biology. The courses I took included: Botany, General Biology, Mammalian, Patho., Biochemistry, General Chemistry, Physics, Ecology, among others. I did graduate with high honors from the university (Magna). I am also bilingual, I'm a Spanish Heritage speaker, but have also taken college Spanish courses, so I know both formal/informal Spanish. I played soccer growing up, 4 years competitive/ 4 recreational soccer as part of the defense, and sometimes played midfield (center mid). I am currently waiting to be trained as an AVID tutor as well, where I will work with first generation students, who plan to be the first in family to graduate from high school to pursue a college education, where I plan to serve as a role model, since I'm a first generation student too.
