Hi! I graduate from Boston College. I was a member of the sailing team throughout all four years. I sailed with the only sailor to achieve the Eagle of the Year award, and also sailed on the women’s team. I went to New Zealand to study abroad in my junior year and fell in love with the country. Post college graduation, I spent almost 8 years working in a top research department at Mass General Hospital. It was there that I was able to get involved in all aspects of research, from working with patients, to data entry, analysis, paper writing, grant writing, finance management and much more. Those experiences lead me to finally choose my career path, as I was able to pin down my passion. I am currently a student at the Boston University School of Public Health, seeking my Masters (or perhaps my ScD) of Public Health. My focus is in epidemiology and biostatistics. The combination of these two concentrations will enable me to properly design, conduct, and analyze a study in any field. I love science, math, and any type of research. I have spent years as a nanny for a wide range of kids and spent many hours helping them enjoy and understand their homework or projects. My ultimate goal is to make sure that we both have fun, while truly learning the topic at hand.
