My goal as a teacher is to foster a joyful musical experience. Students develop superior musicianship skills through appropriate music, theory and practice levels which create a more meaningful and easier understanding of music.
I believe in teaching students to play piano through use of the fundamentals and to recognize the importance and beauty of music. I also help students to learn the correlation between diligence and success while experiencing targeted praise and increased self-worth. This fosters true enjoyment of piano.
I use a Yamaha Digital Piano P-120 with adjustable weighted action which has the technology to record and playback immediately for student feedback. Lessons in your home or mine.
