About Jennifer:

Ciao parents and students!

I have been a soccer player for 16 years, and picked up hockey at the beginning of this year. I was also a soccer coach for a little over two years, teaching the sport to children ages 2-12 (not together of course).
I am currently a junior at Cal State Dominguez Hills, majoring in Psychology, with a certificate in Sports Psychology. I plan on continuing my education at graduate school once I finish my Bachelors.
I personally think that it is easier to learn when having fun with the subject being studied. Learning by doing, or applying certain concepts in an abstract way also helps to speed up the learning process.
I have no problems improvising fun ways to learn dificult subjects. I enjoy taking on different types of challenges, and look forward to helping others.
Ciao!

I've been playing soccer since I was five, via AYSO, club, and college soccer. While in AYSO, I did several Turkeyfests, and played on several tournament teams before making the Region 678 All-Star team. That team beccame the same club team that I was part of for 6 years. I also made a team that traveled to Holland to play in the Reegio Haarlem Cup. Ove the summers, I participated in several upper level goalkeeper camps. I've won several back to back championships at various tournaments, including three in Las Vegas. This team also made it to the Round of 16 for several League and State Cup tournaments. I was the JV MVP my freshman year of high school, followed by three years on Varsity. After high school I played for the NCAA Div 1 University of Detroit Mercy. There, we won the Horizon League Championship, and made it to the Round of 32. After playing in college, I joined the KLS company for two years, teaching the game to children ages 2-12, in a fun and non-competitive manner. I taught all levels and skill abilities, as well as some children with disabilities.
