About Yanping:

Born in China and graduated from top college in Biochemistry in China. Obtained Ph.D degree in Cell Biology and done biomedical research at Yale University. Passionate about traditional Chinese culture, I have been actively involved in both teaching and promoting Chinese language and culture throughout the years since I came to US in 1995. Especially experienced in the following areas:
1. correction of pronunciation (intonation)
2. training people who wish to learn Chinese culture, language, and etiquette.

Other areas of expertise include biology and geometry.

I live in North Haven and I am willing to travel within 30 miles, however an extra charge of $15/lesson would be added outside my house's 5-mile radius, due to high fuel cost.
