Hello to all who have taken the monumental step toward becoming more knowledgeable. I can honestly say I've developed a true passion to tutor students -- one-on-one -- who also have a strong desire to learn.
I feel like my strengths allow me to be most effective teaching high school age through young adult age students.
As my educational background shows, my area of expertise is firmly grounded in the English language. I love the language and am quite adept at relaying important concepts and study methods in order for students to get a firm grasp on problem areas, whatever they may be.
Whether you're a high school student struggling to master grammar concepts, or an immigrant -- new to the United States -- who's trying to improve basic conversational and writing skills, I have the ability, not to mention the patience, to get you up to speed and feeling confident.
In addition to English language tutoring, I have an athletic side. I love the sport of tennis, and have for many years. I played competitively, while in high school, and still enjoy a leisurely game with friends from time to time. Likewise, it gives me great satisfaction to help others gain a love and passion for the game. It's especially rewarding to see someone who has never played tennis in the past develop a passion for it, while gaining confidence in newfound athletic prowess. Again, I would prefer working with high school age through young adult age students.
