Mr. Jerry hails from Liberia, West Africa. He holds a BA in English from Cuttington University College in Liberia and Berea College in Kentucky, and a MA in Rhetoric and Composition from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. During his graduate studies, he worked as a graduate assistant, teaching courses in developmental and freshman composition. Upon graduation, he worked briefly at the University of Kentucky as a part-time lecturer in the English Department. From 1997-2000 he worked at Morris Brown College, first as a Writing Specialist, and later as Coordinator of the Writing Center. From August 2000- May 2002, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Humanities Department at Atlanta Metropolitan College. He has taught at Kennesaw as an Instructor of English since August 2002. Mr. Mwagbe is also a writer and a professional musician.
