I am a Guatemalan Native who moved to the United States in 2002. I am fluent in Spanish. I attended private, catholic schools all throughout my middle school, high school and college. I majored and received my undergraduate in Biology. After college, I worked as a Laboratory Technician for Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine for two and a half years. Then I decided to go back to school and become a teacher. I am currently teaching at a non-public special education high school teaching high school students Biology and Spanish. I am a very visual person and like to teach that way. I use a lot of pictures and provide lots of hand outs in my class. I am currently working towards my Masters in Special Education with a concentration in Biology.
