Born and raised in Southern France, by Christian missionary parents, I spent the first nineteen years of my life there, graduating with a French Baccalaureate. I am thus completely bilingual in French and English (no accent). I was also able to learn Italian (as a second language) in my early teenage years. I was able to visit 18 countries thus far.
I moved to Maryland to continue College, teach, and to intern for Congressman Chris H. Smith in Washington D.C.
In 2004, I moved to California. I have experience teaching K-2, 6-12 and Adults/College level in both private and public schools. I have also tutored and taught private lessons. My subjects of preference are French, English and Italian.
My objective in teaching is to use my education and knowledge to motivate and instruct students.
In teaching, I get to know each student individually. I find out their Learning Style(s) and interests to help them better learn and retain what they learn.
