I , Sylvia Bush, am a retired teacher from Fulton County Schools in East Point, Georgia . I taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade during my 33 year tenure. I was voted "Teacher of the Year" in 1985 by my peers where it appeared in the Atlanta Journal Constitution newspaper. This year of my retirement was difficult, because I missed teaching. I love teaching and children. It is rewarding to start with a "diamond in the rough "and watch it evolve into a "jewel beyond measure."
