About Sarah:

I am a 2nd grade teacher in Brentwood, California and live in Antioch. I am looking to tutor as a way to expand my teaching skills as well as earn extra income. I am passionate about learning and would love a chance to share that passion. I do not believe in one specific teaching style as each individual learns in a different manner. I have a bachelor's degree in English literature, but I am also very good in math.

    I have been teaching 2nd grade for two years. I have also planned curriculum for grades kindergarten through 5th grade for two years as well. I am able to assist with various areas of the curriculum including mathematics, language arts, science and social studies. As I am currently an elementary school teacher, I have access to many resources allowing myself to cater to a variety of different learners. In order to be a successful grade school teacher, one must be able to address alternative methods outside of the traditional learning structure. I believe I am able to tutor any students from the kindergarten level through the 6th grade.
