I was an Honor student during my undergraduate program at University of New Mexico in Los Lunas and Albuquerque, NM. This Honor helped me earned several scholarships to support for my tuition through out my studying.
During this time, I homeschooled my daughter from 8 grade all the way to college. I also helped to teach other homeschooled students when their parents were busy. I taught all subjects: English, social science, math, and religion. With the knowledge from Computer Engineering program, I assisted my daughter study her Electronic program at TVI, the Community College. She recently graduated and became an Electronic Technician at a local company, Aspen Avionics, in Albuquerque, NM building GPS devices.
My favorite subject of study is always Math since I was a child. As a Computer Engineering, I took most of Math classes there is such as College Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Discrete Structures, Electronic math, probability for Engineering, Vector Analysis, and differential equations. My other favorite is using MS Office: Excel, Words, Works, Power Point, Outlook, Access, etc.
When I worked at University of New Mexico, I helped to train non-computer users and also helped Professors to create their Web Courses online using WebCT. Here in Indianapolis, I have tutored IUPUI student to work through her Web Design class.
Beside skills in Computer, I also have long years experience in making pattern and design clothing; especially, Designing in Bridal, Formal, and basic men clothing. I had my own sewing shop back in 1990 and decided to switch career to computer when the economics was bad, but I still have the equipments and never stop sewing. I make pattern from measurements and have multiple tricks for alterations.
