I would enjoy tutoring quite a number of subjects especially history, algebra, football, and reading. My degree in the Liberal Arts from St. John's College required me to study many different subjects including philosophy, literature, math, music, the sciences, foreign languages (Ancient Greek and French), and history. I am very comfortable with Algebra, Geometry, History (of all sorts), Philosophy and have tutored students,K-6, in reading for the Shawnee Mission schools and free-lance.
In August of 2004, after a short course at a trade school and two years of individual study, I passed the Java exam and was certified at the programmer level. Although certification did not lead to employment, I would feel very confident at tutoring the fundamentals of Java and test prep for the programmer level certification exam.
