Looking to help young people excel in academics and the world. I graduated from Brown University in 2001 with a degree in Biology, studied field science in Costa Rica and later joined the Peace Corps. It was as an Environmental Educator with the Peace Corps in Nicaragua that I discovered my passion for education. I believe that education is the key to creating sustainable solutions for our society's biggest problems as it empowers our greatest thinkers, our youth. I have experience working as an earth science teacher as well as providing youth leadership trainings (touching on themes of team work, public speaking and cross cultural communication). I would love to help students with Biology, Math and English, as well as SAT/college essays (I'm a stickler when it comes to getting your message across with proper grammar and a well-structured argument).
