I am a Grad student currently writing my Plant and Soil Science Ph.D thesis. I also possess Maters and Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Sciences. I completed my earlier education in India with high school in Medical Sciences during which I learned animal and Human Physiology, Anatomy. Later I did my Bachelors and Masters in Agricultural Sciences. After doing my Masters in India, I worked there for a year and enjoyed being as Research Associate. During that period, I thought of taking GRE examination, which is the primary requirement for a student to get admission in US Schools and Universities. The exam GRE include English reading, writing and knowing each possible antonym and synonym of english words. It also includes Maths. I passed GRE with good score and after two months I got scholorship in University of Vermont where I did my Ph.D in Plant and Soil Science. My degree in Agricultural/ Environmental sciences gave me the knowledge of Science including Botony, Plant Physiology, Chemistry, Wetland chemistry and other many more subjects. My strongest Subject is MATHEMATICS. I JUST LOVE MATHS. I taught Science and Maths in India too. While in US, I worked as Teaching Assistant for a semester. I taught Soil Chemistry to undergrads and Grad students.Although I am a Research Person, but I enjoy teaching a lot. I donot like to be hard on student. I strongly feel that one learns only when he/she enjoy learning and not when pressured to learn. That is the way I was always taught by my mother. On the other hand, I have learnt so much from my students in India as well as in US. Sometime they ask such questions which a teacher can never expect or think of. Now at this point when I am about to have a Doctorate degree, I feel that there is nothing in the world which can not be Learnt or Taught.I hope this time also I get a chance to enjoy teaching.
