Hey, I’m Gary. I come from a house with seven kids and my Mom always had around eight day care kids in her in home daycare as I was growing up. My Mother taught us all the importance of getting a good education. I’ve lived in Conyers all my life and I’ve always been very active in sports and school. I’m a three times state qualifier for Track and Field with high jump being my main event. I also ran the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles and the 4x400m relay. I’ve always had a love for reading and for computers and I’ve taken many typing, word processing and web design classes in high school. After graduating from high school with a dual diploma I served a two year mission trip in Mexico for my church where I become fluent in Spanish. Since then I’ve graduated from Georgia Perimeter College with an Associates Degree in Foreign Language with a Concentration in Business. I’m currently attending Clayton State University and am undecided on my major at the moment due to the fact that I have so many different interest. I love music and I’ve taken voice, piano and French classes in college. I currently have a 3.4 GPA and I’ll be getting married in December. I can currently tutor around 20 hours a week depending on your schedule and I charge $35 an hour.

  Ever since I was baptized at the age of eight I’ve sought for a greater knowledge about religion. I’ve studied many religions in my college world religion’s course and I’ve even preached religion for two years in Tampico, Mexico. I’ve made it a point to make religion my life and hope that I will be able to become a teacher of religion in an institute or seminary setting as well as in church on Sunday.

  I started Track and Field in the 7th grade at Edwards Middle School. I’ve always loved to run and during my seventh grade track season my track coach taught me how to high jump, she being a former high jumper herself. It didn’t take long for me to catch on and start improving, not only in the high jump, but in many running events as well. In 7th grade I jumped 5’. My 8th grade year I improved to 5’6”, 9th grade I jumped 6’, 10th grade I jumped 6’4” and qualified for state, 11th grade I pulled a muscle but still jumped 6’4” and qualified for state and my 12th grade year I jumped 6’6”, set my high school record and placed 4th at the state meet. I placed 3rd in the 110m run and 5th in the 300m run in my region. I also ran a 51” 400m run on my leg in the 4x400m relay. When I was in high school my coach had me teach high jump and hurdles to the other students since I was a Track Captain for our team.

  Ever since I was a kid I was fascinated by computers. During my high school years I took many computer technology classes to learn as much as I could about them, one of those being a web design class. I found it extremely useful as had always wanted to make my own website and was given the opportunity to do so in that class. Since then I’ve made a few websites of my own ranging from ones of personal interest to my business website.
