Priviet! My name is Trenton Olsen. I am currently a Sophomore at Brigham Young University. My first year there I studied the Russian language before moving to central Russia where I lived the past two years. I spent a good amount of time each week I was in Russia teaching students English and there gained a good understanding of how to teach a language, how to make sure my students are progressing and that they clearly understand the concepts presented. I am currently majoring in Russian and have a working knowledge of grammar, language structure, and culture.   Hello. I am currently a student at Brigham Young University. I am working towards a major in Russian and international relations. I studied a year of Russian before moving to Russia, where I have lived from the fall of 2006 until the summer of 2008. I was there on a service mission for my church, and spent those 2 years communicating and working closely with Russian people everyday. During my time in Russia, I studied the language everyday. I also spent two evenings each week teaching English as a volunteer. I learned much about teaching languages, and developed a good ability to relate with students, and ensure they are having a fun but productive experience.
