My name is Brittany and I am 22 years old. I am from Youngstown, Ohio and I graduated from Austintown Fitch High School in 2004. I then attended Walsh University, where I received my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and as an Intervention Specialist, preschool-third grade. I also obtained my Reading Endorsement for grades K-12. I completed my student teaching in a first grade class and with an integrated preschool class. During my senior year I tutored a third grade student for one semester and a first grade student for one semester. I tutored both students in reading. My job experience includes working at two daycares where I was the head teacher at both centers and I had to complete weekly lesson plans. I taught toddlers for two years and preschool age children for two years. I also worked as a daycamp counselor for one summer with second graders. I have a lot of babysitting experience since the age of 13. I am an enthusiastic person who is excited about helping students reach their potential. I love to teach and employ a variety of teaching strategies which allows me to build the necessary rapport with my students.
