Hello! My name is Brittany. I am a graduate of Cedarville University and currently hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. Having classroom experience in kindergarten through third grade, including an experience in Brazil, I feel confident that I am prepared to guide children in their learning. The experience in Brazil prepared me to work with students and parents of other cultures.
Over the summer of 2008, I tutored a past student in order to help them prepare for the next year of school.
I have a great love for children and a desire to help them learn and grow in all aspects of their lives. My goal is to show them the importance of learning and how they can practically apply their knowledge to their everyday lives. As their tutor, I would help guide them in their learning. Giving the students the answer will ultimately not help them learn. I will help them discover how they are capable of coming to the answer on their own. While working with your child, I will help them learn skills that will in turn positively affect their learning in the classroom.
In elementary school, students build a foundation for the knowledge they will acquire in the future. At this significant time, it is crucial that students receive help when needed.
I believe that every child has the ability to succeed. I would love the opportunity to encourage your child to do their very best, help them improve, and grow in their understanding.
