More On Glenda Margaret's Subjects:

  • elementary (k-6th)

My K-6 experience was gained during 10 years as partners in education coordinator for a large corporation in Chattanooga. During that time, I served as a tutor for this age group in math, reading, language, and art. We also did several landscape/beautification projects. I served two years (as volunteer tutor) with two experts in the field of whole language instruction. I believe that appreciation of books and reading is the foundation of all education and that children can learn to love books and even prefer them over other types of media. I also worked part time 2006-2008 for a large tutoring company, working in the Whitfield County school systems, K-12 grades, teaching remedial subjects to these students.
