I have had a long and varied career as a tutor. I began tutoring while in high school. During that time, I tutored junior high math, science, and Spanish. After graduation, I attended Michigan State University where I tutored basic economics for Multicultural Business Programs. While still at student at Michigan State University, I began privately tutoring Spanish as well. Upon graduation with degrees in Supply Chain Management (business) and Spanish (both with Honors), I later began privately tutoring Spanish in the mid-Michigan area.
While I greatly enjoy tutoring Spanish, I also wish to tutor younger students in writing, reading, and basic computer skills. I come from a long line of elementary school teachers and seek to help students understand their assignments, skills, and knowledge in the context of what their specific teacher is trying to accomplish. I seek to work closely with parents, teachers, and the student to create the best possible outcome for the student.
