Hello! I graduated from American University in December 2006 and since then have been working for a refugee resettlement organization in the DC area. During my college career, I babysat two twin boys (age 6) for 2 years and helped them with all of their homework and assignments. I also spent a year tutoring at a local elementary school through a program funded through NASA. I lived in Spain in high school and am fluent in Spanish. I helped friends in college with college-level Spanish classes and am confident in tutoring Spanish at any level. I believe it is important that children do not merely memorize, but completely understand their homework. I enjoy developing creative ways for students to retain information and look forward to working with you!
