I posses an ABET accredited Engineering Degree and am a Licensed Professional Surveyor in NC and MI, Licensed Rotary Wing Commercial Pilot, Iraq War Veteran and prior Military Officer. I also built my own house and performed all of the work myself. I am the Father of a 3 year old son.

I come from a background of educators. My Father was a teacher and school administrator, my mother was trained in elementary education and my sister is a teacher with a Masters at Stanford University.

Due to my diverse background and experience, I am able to draw from real world experiences and provide real world applications to my instructional technique. My strongest subjects are in the area of Mathematics and Physics.

  I am very well versed in the use of personnal computers and have utilized them substantially within my carreer fields in the Military and Civilian occupations. I have experience in computer programming and have written various programs in Pascal, Basic, and Fortran. I have even made some residual income thru the sale of one of these programs. This programming experience would lend itself naturally to instructing in any programming language due to the fact that each language, conceptually, has most of the same features and the logic would not change from language to language. I can instuct on utilizing the following softwares at a basic to intermediate user level. Autocad, Microsoft Works, Word Perfect, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access, together with basic ancillary computer use knowledge (insalling drivers, installing software, security, internet usage, troubleshooting ect...)
