I graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor's in Elementary Education/Spanish. I plan to return to UTA in the Spring to work on my Master's in Modern Languages emphasis in Spanish.
I taught Spanish at a middle school for two years in Abilene. I teach Spanish Level 1 (high school) at a middle school in Arlington ISD.I have been teaching there for 3 years. I have also taught adults.
I use alternative activities such as providing visual stimulus rather than an auditory one, or vice versa, written rather than visual and expect the student to study at least 10-15 minutes each night. I give suggestions on how to study if there are problems. I am serious about a student learning Spanish.
