Hello my name is Michael,
I am a graduate of Texas State University, where I obtained my BFA in Studio Art with an emphasis in Painting. I took 4 semesters of Drawing and 4 Semesters of Art History. I am very knowledgeable in the selected fields above, and I am certified to teach ART EC-12. In college I was involved in an orientation program that incoming freshman went through upon entering the campus. I facilitated discussion groups consisting of questions ranging from where to go on campus to study or how to obtain resources for class. I also was part of an elite group of students that ran this entire orientation program. I was dedicated for 6 years in this program and in the end the retention rate of freshman had increased over 20 percent. I took a series of Art Education courses including a media course. I also am knowledgeable in the sport of baseball quite well. I have played baseball since I was three and helped coach my cousins team for over 3 years. In high school, I was part of the drama club and debate team, and acquired the National Young Leader Award as well as the Distinguished Scholar Award. I can promise you that I will give my complete attention towards anybody who is willing to learn. Please give me the opportunity to inspire the minds of others. Thank You for your time and support.
