I grew up speaking Russian, and mastered English in first grade. My double major in college was Russian and Speech/Theater. While in the Air Force, I completed a Master's in Adult Education. I was an Instructor at the Air Force Officer Training School, and supervised and assisted Russian language training at the Army's Defense Language Institute / Foreign Language Center. Helping people master new skills in a one on one setting has been a major part of my job for the last twenty two years. It's the part of my job that I enjoy the most.
