I am a recent graduate with high honors from the University of Chicago, with a double major in German and Comparative Literature. I am fluent in German and Hindi, very proficient in Spanish and have a basic knowledge of Russian and French. I have lived and worked in Berlin and Vienna and thus my knowledge of the German language is particularly sophisticated.
I am currently planning to go to law school and focus on Intellectual Property. I could provide high quality tutoring in languages as well as standardized tests such as the SATs and the LSATs.
I am also an exceptional writer and wrote my thesis on Tableaux Vivants (living pictures) in Goethe's Elective Affinities. I would love to proof read or help out with grammar.
I am passionate about molding writing into the most elegant prose! My teaching style is fun yet very serious, I have a great sense of humor but I am extremely thorough and detail oriented. You will never be memorizing rote facts with me but learning the way things actually work and the concepts behind the most complicated ideas (whether grammatical or literary). I would love to go over dense texts with you (German philosophy is my specialty) and extrapolate them so that they become entirely lucid.
