More On Brian's Subjects:

  • basketball

I played competitive basketball up through freshman year in high school where I played on a division 1 team @Junipero Serra High School in California. I've won basketball championships for my school leagues in elementary and middle school and posted a winning record in high school, facing tough competition. I have been to multiple basketball camps including Stanford basketball camp where I was coached by actual Stanford University men's basketball players. I have also been taught private basketball lessons from competent teachers. In addition, I have played in competitive, invitation only basketball leagues such as the MVP league in middle school. I have played a lot of intramural and pickup basketball in college, at various colleges. I can teach a range of offensive and defensive moves for individuals as well as movement strategies for offensive and defensive play. I know drills for improving ballhandling, strength, fitness, and I can help perfect a person's shooting technique as well. I can teach offensive post moves and how to play defense around the post, etc. Dribbling moves to get by opponents, ways to improve defensive footwork, etc. are all things I am familiar with and have practiced.
