Hi, my name is David, and I am currently living in Brooklyn, although I can travel to Manhattan or other places, depending on the location and circumstances. I have a BA in music from Columbia. I principally teach piano and am classically trained, although I can also help with music history, composition, theory, and other styles such as jazz and pop. I am most familiar with modern classical idioms, although I have experience as well in jazz, pop, rock, and other styles.
