My weighted high school average was 103.2, so I know what it takes to succeed in a competitive high school environment. In college I volunteered as a note-taker, and often helped my friends in their course work. I have more than one friend that credits me with helping them pass their core classes and therefore helping them graduate from college. When I was a student I learned best when I could look at the information from all angles, dissect it, and internalize it, instead of just memorizing it for the short-term. My goal would be to have my students learn the same way, so they would retain the information for the weeks, and possibly years to come. I would want to improve upon my student’s knowledge in the subject at hand, as well as help them improve their writing, study, and information management skills.
Currently I manage a store. I know the basic skills learned in school will be used for the rest of the student's life, and I want to help you gain, retain, and improve upon those skills.
