About Casey:

Hey guys! My name is Casey and I recently moved to the San Diego area. After playing competitive fastpitch softball for 12 years, and a year of college, I wanted to focus on school. I spent 3 years at Arizona State University studying anatomy and kinesiology, which is a fancy word for the body in motion. Although I still love that field, I have switching my major to art education which is a true passion of mine. I have designed and taught an entire art camp for kids in Phoenix, and love working with creative and energetic children. I have lots of experience working with kids of all ages, and believe you have to find ways to relate material to students if you expect them to learn it. I have a great sense of humor and a fun and optimistic attitude, but I am definitely a firm believer in developing good study habits early and devoting time out of each day for learning. Let me know if I can help you!

More On Casey's Subjects:

  • softball

Softball has been a huge part of my life. After playing competitively for 12 years on a travel club team, playing a year of college softball on a scholarship, and then coaching and doing private lessons and clinics for the past 2 years, I definitely know my stuff. I love the game, and have a ton of experience teaching girls from all different skill levels. My strength is definitely catching and hitting, but I have been around the game long enough to teach all positions. Let me know if I can help! Thanks! -Casey
