I am a patient friendly tutor who really enjoys helping others learn. I have a biology degree from University of Iowa and a Masters degree in Public Health-Epidemiology from Columbia University. My experience ranges from tutoring collegiate athletes to tutoring children as a Peace Corps Volunteer in West Africa. I come from a family of educators, my mother teaches special education and my sister teaches in the inner city. I understand school can be difficult and intimidating, especially when a student lacks confidence in the subject material. I'm looking forward to tutoring and giving students a chance to feel pride in their academic improvements and achievements.
