I just recently moved to North Carolina to attend UNC Chapel Hill for graduate studies in the Fall. I completed my undergraduate degree in Audiology (hearing science) with High Honors at the University of Texas in Austin. I also focused on French, Business, and Advertising. During my time at Texas, I was a certified peer mentor for incoming freshmen. Although tutoring was not an official part of my job, I never turned down a request for help. I have proofread hundreds of papers and sat patiently through students attempting beginning French. I am patient, a good listener, and always ready to help with a smile. I understand what it is like to struggle in some subjects but to excel in others. I believe in the power of flashcards, studying, and practice. I also think that simply discussing a subject is a great way to learn about it. I cannot wait to get started!
