About Yuko:

Hi. My name is Yuko and it is my pleasure to be your dedicated private Japanese tutor to help you learn and improve your Japanese in writing and speaking and also assist you with a project that you are working on in Japanese. I grew up in Japan, France, England and the United States of America. I am interested in tutoring all levels: people from academic fields who are proficient in Japanese but needs a little help to beginners. I graduated from Sophia University in Japan and I also studied at Georgetown University in DC, so I enjoy academic studies but my profession that I am pursuing is Fine Artist! so do not be surprised when you see my resume! I tremendously enjoy teaching Japanese and meeting my students. I have been living in Boston for 10 years. In the past, I have helped a German professor in Japanese literature department write grant proposal letters and papers and I have also tutored young kids and I also work as an interpreter. I am a good teacher and I care to give you what I can that you are looking for.

More On Yuko's Subjects:

  • Japanese

I am Japanese and I graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Kokusai High School, which is one of the best high schools in Tokyo and I graduated from Sophia University in Japan, so my level of writing in Japanese is beyond just being a native speaker. I am smart and fun. I have worked with a foreign professor who specialize in Japanese literature in the past and she told me that I can be a great help to people working in academic fields working on papers or grant proposals etc. Since then, I have been working as an interpreter, translator and a tutor. I welcome all levels who are serious about improving their Japanese speaking and writing skills.
