About Jody:

I am an energetic, experienced teacher that believes in hands on learning. I have a great deal of experience in helping students with reading problems develop a love of reading. I have a variety of games that promote learning in the areas of math and reading, because learning should be fun! I have taught in public school for eight years and tutored during that time also. I attended Arizona State for my Bachelor's degree, and continued my education with staff development classes yearly. I am willing to work with your child's teacher and supply individualized lessons to help your child.

I have taught in public school for eight years. I have been a full time teacher in first and third grade. I have previously tutored K-4 grade students. I have taken and passed the Arizona Educator Proficiency Exam for Elementary Education. I have taught reading, writing and math to students in K-4 and have materials in these areas. I hold a Early Childhood education endorsement on my state teaching certificate. All of my background gives me qualifications to help students in grades K-4 succeed in reading, writing and math.
