  I have developed VB applications for small business as a contractor for over 20 years. I have also trained VB and ASP.NET in an Industrial setting for development teams. I have written and supported small business e-commerce web sites with interfaces to MS - mdb, Oracle and XML databases. I have also taught these subjects as a professor with Indiana University Purdue University in Indianapolis. I have also integrated VB for the user interfaces integrated into the ASP.NET business classes and "backend" code. I hold the MS certification for VB Development for Business Applications. I enjoy creating web sites using ASP.NET due to my extensive background with VB. Of course, I will throw in HTML and some XML source code into the project as needed.

  I have a IC3 certification and also the MS Master Instructor certification for IC3. IC3 is certification in basic computer hardware, software and Internet computing. I have trained folks from ages 10 to 98 years in age! It is a fun topic! I have developed training for a Community College in Indiana to prepare students to take this IC3 certification. I have also developed a program for the same college called "O.F.F. To College". This was developed for students over Fifty Five years of age that wanted to learn more about the basics of the computer, Internet and email. It was implemented throughout the state in all extension sites. I have fun with learning. While I do not flaunt my background while training, I bring much experience to the classroom or tutoring session. I am a relaxed individual with fun activities while learning. I have also taught PC Basics courses for continuing education departments of several industrial, retail, banking and clinical (Medical and nursing) applications.
