Hello! My name is Samara, and I am a 22 year old musician. I began studying music at the age of 5 when I started violin lessons. I took saxophone lessons (jazz and classical) for 8 years and piano for 6 years. I studied theory, history, aural skills, and applied voice at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I can give beginning lessons in any of the above, and I am qualified to give lessons in classical voice, theory, history, and aural skills. I have studied voice with Professor Bruce Hall at Northwestern University, who has trained several Met finalists. I have also studied with the current lead soprano of the Vienna Volksoper in Vienna, Austria, Melba Ramos. I am a very laid back person who loves music and sharing what I have learned in my studies. Academically, I am also qualified to tutor for the ACT, in Political Science, and Biblical studies. I earned a 34 composite with subject scores of Reading - 32, English - 34, Science - 36, and Math - 33. My second major at Northwestern University is in Political Science with a focus on American Politics. Finally, I am a Christian and have taught several Bible studies and Sunday school classes. I would love to tutor in any capacity, so please contact me! If not me, I hope you find someone who meets your needs. Thanks for reading!
