Hello, my name is Kristen and I currently work with an after school program while I finish my teaching credential. I have spent the past eight years working with children, kindergarten through 5th grade, with their daily homework.
For the past seven years, I have been working with afterschool programs helping children kindergarten through 5th grade complete their homework on a daily basis. I have "hands on" approaches to many subjects that enhance what is being taught in the classroom. I am familiar with the amount of homework that is currently being given to children in elementary school along with what is expected of the children to earn passing grades. I am currently finishing school in order to receive my teaching credental to teach elementary children. I have taken numerous classes that explain the many theories of teaching to children and what are the most effective methods.
