I have over 35 years experience teaching and tutoring 'at risk' and 'reluctant' learners in biology, earth science and junior HS science. Since retiring from the classroom I have been supervising science student teachers from Manhattanville College.
As a tutor I assess each student and build on the student's knowledge base. All students can be successful given the appropriate instruction correctly matched to their needs. My high expectations and reservoir of experience helps my students reach their potential.
