Objective
My professional goal is to teach, lead, and connect schools and communities. Learning is a process that continues throughout life, and my personal goal is to earn a Doctorate of Philosophy degree, so that I gain knowledge and skills to conduct applied research. Through my involvement, research, and application in bilingual education, I hope to influence the methodology so that it will benefit all students in my community.

I am fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English.
I have experiences working with people from diverse cultures: in 1988, as an ESL voluntary instructor for the language department in Colégio Albania, Barranquilla, Colombia. In 1999, as a teacher aide for grades k-6 in the Chapel School, American School of Sao Paulo, Brazil, where I worked with students from at least 40 different countries. In 1998, at Alamogordo High School, Alamogordo, NM, USA, teaching ESL for grades 9-12 where I worked with students from several countries, such as Germany, Korea, China, Brazil, Jamaica, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Italy and Chile.
I am a caring person who loves to help and work with people. I feel I would be a great asset to your organization because I am a very organized individual. I have more than ten years of teaching experience.
