I am a 25 year old who would like to start tutoring. I had a 4.0 GPA in high school, and almost a 4.0 GPA in college (darn that quantum mechanics!). I am originally from Longmont, CO, but now live in Westminster. I went to Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS and majored in physics. I took a lot of math and science, as well as some computer programming. I am confident that I would be a good tutor for these subjects.
I have only a little tutoring experience. I tutored some elementary school students when I was in high school, and also when I was in college. I would prefer to tutor high school students.
I would say my teaching style varies depending on the student I am working with. I am a firm believer in inquiry-based teaching, where, instead of giving the students the answer, or even telling them how to do it, I would help them figure it out on their own by asking them questions to make them think about it.
